Crazy, active female thinking about joining the Marines. Why? They are the best of the best, badass, and tough as **** I'd go the OCS route. Right choice? If not, why?

Really all depends on how much you want it I guess. That's a big decision. Maybe talk to your family to see what they say or think about it. Never hurts to get some family/friends opinions.

I wanted to join the marines straight out of HS, and you know who talked me out of it? A good friend of mine who just so happened to be a Marine on leave. He told me, quite frankly that my life was not worth 3k or whatever it is a month.
