I hope you backed up your favorite stuff. If so, I can help.
Shut down your comp and turn it on again, before it boots, hit F12(or whatever key you hit to get to the boot menu).
Find the command to open a DOS prompt.
Type "format C:" and hit Enter.
It will ask you if you really, REALLY want to do this. If you type "y", it will effectively wipe out your entire hard drive, including the virus, and all of your files, and your OS.
You'll need to either reinstall your old OS(hope you saved your recovery disk from when you bought the comp) or install a new one. I chose Ubuntu, because I finally got sick of Windows getting a virus every time I signed onto the net. And because Microsoft is just garbage in general.
Et voila! An essentially clean computer, and one that should hold up indefinitely(unless you stubbornly decide to go with Windows again).
