Help bring back Americas Greatest Generation! They taught their kids the meaning of hard work, respect, selflessness, and patriotism. People were there for one another. Neighbors would sit in the front yard and help fellow neighbors, kids would have been outside, helpin their parents or off runnin around everywhere, being adventerous. No one would have dared yelled at an elder. Customer service was 100 times better than it is today. People looked out for each other. Today, everyone lives in the backyard. Swing sets and playgrounds are made of plastic, kids sit inside and play video games all day, 67% of americans are obese! Most kids dont know the value of hard work and parents arent forcing them to get jobs! Illegal immigrants are pouring in and taking jobs our kids should be getting. No one is allowed to do anything fun anymore. We all have to watch out with what we say because lord forbid getting someone UPSET! This country forgot its values. The greatest generation was called that for a reason. They sacrificed themselves for the greater good. They looked out for each other. They were all heroes. Today, we dont have an identity. We are just generation y.
