i must vent about exhusbands moving to mexico not pay child support, leaving mothers to keep kids on the right track, go to college try to maintain stability with the family; then say how wonderful their life is in mexico. telling the court system stick it = call his kids occasionally, bribe a son to go into the service so he can wash his hands of any type of payment involving child support. all he can be is arrested when and if he gets back into the US. where are all the good men who respected and believed in 'family' ok i muttered. any single mom's out there with the same issues?

well, well, the custodya and child support laws are unfair. Most custodials especially mothers want to screw the ex, all they see are $$$$$. Why pay 4000 $ for kids ones sees on the the stop clock 2 evening a week and 2 weekends a month ? Then to be harrassed and insulted by the ex over being 5-20 mins late. Get the laws right then Dads will care, trust me most of us love our kids, dearly.

If he's got the money to flee to Mexico why doesn't he have money for a child support payment or two? I'm sorry but those payments are a joke anyways. My mom used to get $60 total a week for us 2 kids. That was in part because he was self employed which makes it much easier to hide how much you are getting paid... but still... $60 a week for 2 kids? yeah right. you should cash in on your ex's life insurance if he has any... if you know what I mean.
