I cant believe some parents abandon families. Fleeing to another country is ridiculous. Sounds like he doesnt care about anybody. Who would throw away a whole life to avoid paying money. I assume you left him. I can see why. Personally i think children are gods gift to all of us. If he doesnt care that hes hurting his own family then its time to teach the man a lesson. Best way to get back at him is making him pay his dues. Bet hes rich too. Most rich people are like that. Like the bible says, "for the love of money is the root of all evil." From above, the wicked shall receive their just reward. Sounds like its time he payed for his sins.

I don't understand how he can just leave his kids with nothing. Kids are a parent's responsibility, in a way, FOREVER! We care about our kids thoughts, feelings, loves, hates, and futures forever. How can he not be in pain for his children? He's a classic dead beat dad and I pray that he slips up and gets arrested. Maybe he'll change his tune when he's someone's 'bitch' in jail!

thanks all....yea he does have $$$ and the kids do feel abandoned only feel as they were his tax deduction. i can only tell them i'm sorry i should have chosen better. yes he does value money much more than his family. they are great kids 2 nearly finished with college, one going in in the fall. how can any parent not be proud of that? and the kids and i did it together. i am proud!

well, well, the custodya and child support laws are unfair. Most custodials especially mothers want to screw the ex, all they see are $$$$$. Why pay 4000 $ for kids ones sees on the the stop clock 2 evening a week and 2 weekends a month ? Then to be harrassed and insulted by the ex over being 5-20 mins late. Get the laws right then Dads will care, trust me most of us love our kids, dearly.
