I have an amazing technique for manipulation. Sometimes people get aggressive because of jealousy or hostility or because I've told them the truth or confronted them about something. When people start getting aggressive with me, feign naivete/cluelessness, and they can't hurt you. It's such a funny way to make peace with ridiculously high-strung idiots. The real kicker is, they have no idea that I'm smarter than they are. And I get what I want while letting them think they've come out on top. I've done this for a while without anyone suspecting anything (I guess that means I'm really good at faking stupidity...hmmm) and today my boss called me out on it, and then complemented me about it--turns out, she's done the same thing for many years! XD
The problem with that is that refusing to confront reality is the same thing as the silent treatment. The recipient, seeing that there is no opportunity for verbal progress, knows the only alternative is physical "progress".
Actually #5, not everyone gets what they deserve. Sometimes shitty things happen to good people, and sometimes good things happen to shitty people. Honestly, I don't think the poster's behavior is bad at all.
