did anyone see "world of warcraft freak out" on youtube? Some teen goes nuts cuz his parents got rid of his account or somethin like that...friggin hilarious!
My generation isnt completely retarded. However, the more intelligent kids are becoming farther and fewer in-between. Even still i don't think we'll let complete idiots run our country like the generation before us. There's nothing to worry about. Just look for more inmates and larger prisons ; ).
You gotta see the other videos on that kid too. Its so funny in a retarded way. Flipping out at someone on another game and yells at some dude who keeps killing him. Then yells "i will find you and eat your first born!!"
is it possible for someone to seriously act like that though? Ive never seen it in person but i wouldn't know what to do if i did see it. Idk I guess my faith in teenage boys not acting like irrational monkeys precedes me.
ive seen a few people act pretty crazy like that...some people can be pretty bad. I remember when i was playing Call of Duty online and kept killing this one guy on the other team. He apparently got pissed off and sent me a voice message on xbox live and threatened to kill me and called me a pussy and all this other shit. Actually, Ive got quite a few hate messages via xbox live cuz of that game...all from male young adults or teens.. But did any of em stick a remote up their ass for being pissed? I doubt it. lol
I don't think there's anything specifically wrong with this generation. But I do think they're more hedonistic than past generations. It seemed before when you moved towards adulthood, you would devote yourself to getting ahead. Now it seems teens are trapped in adolescence well into their 20's. Maybe its not so bad- there's more to life than work; but on the subject of work, people in other countries will outwork us. Other thing is video games seem to have an odd effect on personality. It instills in otherwise normal people a temper tantrum. When you exert yourself physically and lose (lets say in football, wrestling), you are humbled by the loss. The physical exhaustion ties into some evolutionary programming where you learn to handle defeat with grace, but learn from it in a mature way. With video games, it seems lashing out, tantrums, and excuse-making is the norm.
