I have been so paranoid lately. I have always been somewhat of a hypochondriac, but I think it might be getting worse. My mom and my grandma are clinically depressed, so I guess I am next. I really, really, really DO NOT want to ever be on meds, so hopefully it is just a phase of some sort, and if it isn't, hopefully I can fight it out.
It isn't smart to be paranoid. All that'll to is exacerbate your problems and make them come true even more.
You're gonna have to gain a lot of mental willpower to properly fight something like that in my opinion. I think you can do it of course. YOU just have to know you can. Or screw yourself over otherwise.
In the end, the best you should do is relax. May not sound like much, but thats the best i can tell you.
Relax. Take some St John's Wort, drop the medication, it'll make everything worse. Eat healthily, in moderation (that means a burgerking is ok- just not every week- same goes for apples- eating loads can't be good- thats what i mean- everything in moderation). Make the most of sunlight, and try to get fresh air as often as you can. Take it easy, and sort out priorities in your life. Listen to some pretty music, something that makes you feel good and happy :) - And don't sweat the small stuff :)
If your young, then paranoia and anxiety are completely normal. It's unlikely your doctor would prescribe you any medication because you are under the age of 18, and you'd probably just recieve info on how to reduce anxiety levels by deep breathing, pursed lip breathing, engaging in other tasks ect ect. Depression has other side effects and the newer atypical medications are extremely useful with very minor SE
