If I come across another skinny doctor/medical practitioner who tells me to exercise and lose weight for my diabetes whilst stuffin me full of f***in drugs that sedate me I'll exercise my fist on their f***in nose. felt a bit tired before the blood pressure and other drugs they ship into me but now can barely f***in walk. i've a sedentary drivin job and dared to suggest maybe the gear they've put me on is a bit strong (after 2 years)cos my blood pressure is borderline high and my cholestrol is f***in 3. you'd think i'd bent the pope over and slipped him one on the vatican steps the look they gave me.If i can be arsed I'm gettin a 2nd opinion, trouble is since wackin these tablets i have just enough go to do my job, f***ers, i know they're wrong but its a cartel like all the professions.
Which medications are you prescribed? I assume statin + beta blocker + probably metformin + novolog + lantus? Anyway, you should explain your symptoms and concerns to your physician, many times a simple d/c of medications known to cause drowsiness like Pravastatin can be exchanged for an order of medications with no side effect of drowsiness like simvastatin.
Doctors seem to know nothing about exercise. Several years ago, one doctor recommended I exercise at least 2 hours a day; anyone who is a trainer will tell you that any more than 1 hour you begin to experience catabolism and its counterproductive. 4 years later I'm in great shape- no thanks to ignorant, ill-conceived advice from the medical profession.
And yes, you're right- its a crime the way doctors can control your access to medicine that affects your quality of life (and life or death). Its as though you have to beg them to consider your concerns regarding medicine.
