it's so annoying when you want to do something that doesn't affect anybody else but yourself, but your friends apparently "care" about you and don't want you too so they tell somebody and you can't do it anymore.

The whole purpose of your friends "caring" about you is to make sure you don't do something stupid... so, just don't do something stupid and problem solved.
