ok i need ADVICE! my friend told me today that her dad hits her and shoves her into things and i really need to know the right thing to do. only me and 3 other of her friends know. oh and her mom, who just stands by and laughs. what should i do?

Talk to her a little more about it, maybe try and see if she will bring it up to someone that can actually do something about herself.
That is always a shitty situation and people (especially the mother, wtf??) shouldn't just stand by and let it happen.

Well there really isn't anything you can do but try and convince her to go to the police or a councilor at school. If she refuses to do it, there's nothing much left to do but watch and hope she comes to her senses, we all want the best for our friends, but they have to want it too.
