Talk to her a little more about it, maybe try and see if she will bring it up to someone that can actually do something about herself.

That is always a shitty situation and people (especially the mother, wtf??) shouldn't just stand by and let it happen.

Well there really isn't anything you can do but try and convince her to go to the police or a councilor at school. If she refuses to do it, there's nothing much left to do but watch and hope she comes to her senses, we all want the best for our friends, but they have to want it too.

Question: what sort of things does he shove her into?? If it's only soft bushes and the occasional marble column, then no harm, no foul, AMIRITE???

You need to make sure she understand this is not good. If she doesn't you may need to get other people involved. If you do this, you have to know she may be mad at you. But if the situation is serious, she will come to appreciate your courage to worry about her wellbeing.
