Just Vent | Just Venting

Why will my mum stop replying to my texts when I try to start a conversation? I haven't seen her since my aunt's funeral in November and she didn't say a word to me while we were there. We texted each other on Christmas so I thought we were getting back on track but she won't carry on a conversation with me past two texts on her part. It's like she actually can't be bothered to text me and only replies because she should. Not going to lie, it hurts. I'm 17, I wasn't expecting to have lost my mum almost completely already. It was bad enough with my dad. Wow, this was mopey. Sorry.
