Just Vent | Just Venting

Tired of my family. They are nothing but a bunch of cowards and sellouts, unfortunately. They cower before tall, voluble people and talk down to people who have low social status. I know in an unfortunate case where a verbal conflict arises and I'm in it, they will be less than supportive and either out of cowardice or self-righteousness, give importance to the other party in the conflict. They try to justify their cowardice after the fact by claiming to "being reasonable". Sometimes in this world, you need to assert yourself, especially if someone else is trying to take advantage of you; the last thing you need is your own family to undercut you in these situations.
